Common Man Stan was started by the very people behind local roastery Common Man Coffee Roasters. Opened last year along Stanley Street, Common Man Stan boasts the trademark CMCR specialty coffee and new dishes exclusively created for the outlet. Common Man Stan is also working with notable names such as Citizen Farm and Tiong Bahru Bakery to incorporate local produce into their dishes.
Both the fruity and floral CMCR Espresso blend, and chocolatey 22 Martin blend of coffee are available at Common Man Stan. The cafe is good for lazy weekend brunches. Go for the Eggs Benedict, CMCR Full Breakfast, or healthier options such as the Sauteed Kale and Egg White Scramble. Great food and a fragrant brew is absolutely essential in gearing up for the week ahead!

Forty Hands
Forty Hands was one of the first coffee houses which led the coffee revolution back in 2010. Forty Hands focuses on quality coffee made from sustainable and fresh beans. Their first outlet at Yong Siak Street herald the arrival of many cafes and coffee joints that have since revitalised the Tiong Bahru area. Forty Hands also has a second outlet located along East Coast Road.
The long-standing coffee joint offers some very creative and interesting all-day breakfast options and hearty mains. Highlights include the Chili Scram which sees creamy scrambled eggs infused with chili, and the BBQ Jackfruit Burger that has real pulled jackfruit in homemade chipotle BBQ sauce! The innovative dishes at Forty Hands almost stole the thunder from their freshly roasted specialty coffee, so don’t forget to give the latter a try!

One Man Coffee
This relaxing coffee house serves one of the best coffees in Singapore and shares its shophouse space with gourmet pizza bar, Crust, so you can enjoy the fantastic combo of pizza and specialty coffee!
Their nutty Brioche French Toast served with homemade berry compote and fresh cream is a must-try! The brioche was pillowy soft and super moist, nicely complemented by blueberry jam and cream. One Man Coffee sources its brew from Melbourne-based Axil Coffee Roasters. Their cappuccino is well-balanced and rich in aroma.
