Enjoy up to 50% rebate when you dine at Forest森, KT’s Grill*, Osia, Palio, Starz Restaurant and Tangerine. Thank you RWS, I have the pleasure to try all the 6 restaurants. Here’s featuring 3 of them first:
OSIA serves contemporary cuisine with Australia flavours and Asia accents infused into the dishes. Chef de Cuisine Douglas Tay uses only the freshest produce sourced from all over the world and preparing stocks, sauces and bread dips from scratch. I love the open-kitchen concept where I have the pleasure of watching a group of handsome chefs in cooking action.
We went for the 2-course lunch at $35++ and kicked off the lunch with Osia’s macadmia and black truffle flatbreads. These homemade stone hearth flatbreads are freshly baked upon order directly on the floor of a wood fired oven. The bread has a delightfully crisp crust, and is gorgeously airy and chewy on the inside. Squeezing the pistachio cream cheese from the tube feels like I am squeezing toothpaste.
Carrot orange ginger soup as a very special mixture of orange juice, carrots and ginger all mixed together to form this sweet yet little spicy soup. It was pureed perfectly with no lumps and the addition of the smoked trout added texture to the soup.
There are few who can resist the silken richness and sublime taste of foie gras that is pan seared to give a brittle crust. It is nicely orchestrated with banana textures, Jamaican rum and Madagascar Vanilla.

Starz Restaurant is a chic buffet restaurant at RWS’s Hard Rock Hotel Singapore. Overlooking the Hard Rock pool, the psychedelic purple-hued booths are frequently filled with a mix of resort guests and locals.
The semi buffet lunch (Adult $28++ / Child $14++) offers a buffet range of appetizers, salad, soup and dessert, while you can pick your mains and the chef will prepare ala-minute.
I make my own rojak in the buffet section!
The staff recommended us to try Nasi Goreng with spicy chicken rings, satay, achar and keropok. Love the chunky satay with tender meat and nutty satay sauce.
We also ordered oven baked sea bass with mash potato, seasonal vegetables drenched in dill cream sauce.
The dessert corner offers a great variety for sweet tooth such as assorted swiss roll, rocky brownie, nonya kuehs, mango panna cotta, coconut pandan cake, seasonal fruits and hot dessert like tau suan, cheng tng, beancurd with ginko nuts or soya milk with youtiao.

I really love Forest森 by celebrity chef Sam Leong. Located at the lobby of Equarius Hotel, the restaurant breaks out of traditions and take bold steps to reinvent contemporary Chinese cuisine.
Beef Tenderloin ($26++) is an extremely tender meat. The chef expertly wok-fried the beef tenderloin cubes in black pepper sauce and pan-seared Foie Gras which gives a real touch of luxury.
Canadian Moreal mushroom with wild bamboo piths in milk chicken consommé in young coconut is another signature dish of the restaurant.
I was pretty full by now but can’t resist the Japanese Ramen ($18++). It resembles our xing hua lor mee. The base of the gravy is excellent, which is then delicately accented with clams, pork belly and Tientsin cabbage until the stock is infused with all the flavours.
Ending the meal with Chilled Lemon Grass Jelly with aloe vera and botanic berries.
