A culinary masterpiece, the Crab Meat with XO Conpoy Sauce Rice Dumpling ($28) is an umami-packed parcel. The house-made XO conpoy sauce is made from quality shredded dried scallop and chilli spices before generous chunks of Sri Lankan crab meat are folded in. This indulgent creation is then poached for approximately six hours, allowing the ingredients such as salted egg yolk, black bean and fragrant glutinous rice to meld together perfectly.

Embracing traditions with a modern twist, the new Pandan Gula Melaka with Shredded Coconut & Quinoa Glutinous Rice Dumpling ($20) will remind you of the well-loved Ondeh Ondeh Kueh. Expect a smoky caramel-like gula melaka and nutty shredded coconut centre enveloped with creamy purple sweet potato, all wrapped in pandan-infused glutinous rice, wholesome quinoa and green bean. Nonya-Style Rice Dumpling with Plant-Based Meat

Taking center stage this year is the new Nonya-Style Rice Dumpling with Plant-Based Meat, Sweetened Winter Melon, and Mushroom (传统娘惹植物肉粽, $23.90nett), a meatless spin-off of Man Fu Yuan’s popular Nonya-Style Rice Dumpling with X.O. sauce (X.O. 娘惹豚肉粽, $23.90nett) that is generously filled with minced pork, homemade X.O. sauce, sweetened winter melon and dried shrimps. For those with a penchant for sweetness, the new Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Red Bean, Honey Date and Red Date (红豆甜蜜枣红枣粽, $20.90nett) is not to be missed.

After it’s successful debut last year, Man Fu Yuan Giant Classic Cantonese Rice Dumpling with Red Quinoa (满福苑经典裹蒸粽, $98.80nett) makes its return.
