Lime Restaurant has thoughtfully curated a bountiful selection of both new and classic dishes to bring good luck and fortune to you and your loved ones in the upcoming year.

Indulge in feisty oriental dishes such as Szechuan Chicken with Matcha Soba Noodles, Pan Seared Szechuan Pepper-Infused Marinated Pork Chop, and Steamed Glutinous Rice with Assorted Waxed Meat wrapped in Lotus Leaf. The aromatic glutinous rice is loaded with delicious waxed meats and mushrooms.

Classic favourites such as the Rock Salt Oven Baked Free Range Chicken, Shanghainese Pork Belly and Roasted Beef in Natural Jus are also sure to hit the mark with the meat lovers. I particularly love the bite-sized fatty squares of pork belly caramelized with sweet and sour sauce. The slow-cooked pork is soft and will easily melt in your mouth.

There’s much to love about the Rock Salt Oven Baked Free Range Chicken. Contrary to its name, there’s nothing overwhelmingly salty about the dish. It is, in fact, very succulent and juicy, and just flavoursome enough.

Excite your taste buds with the Tteok-bokki with Bolognese or Truffle Mushroom Cream Sauce – the Chef’s unique take on the classic Korean rice-cake dish, marrying textures and flavours from the East and the West.

Lime’s extensive array of seafood is, as always, second to none. The ever-so-popular Seafood on Ice, Baked Sustainable Barramundi with Capers and Beurre Blanc, and Three Taste Prawn with Edamame Peas are bound to delight your palate.

Reunions with family and friends are made sweeter with a selection of sweet treats inspired by the festivities, including Yuzu Meringue Tart and Eight Treasures Cake. Make sure not to miss out on Lime Restaurant’s crowd favourite Durian Pengat with Gula Melaka and Deep Fried Nian Gao, and capture an insta-worthy picture of the Rainbow Cake before digging in as well!

The Durian Pengat with Gula Melaka is my favourite. It tastes almost exactly like the actual fruit, as it is made from simmering durian pulp at a low heat until it reaches a thick, gooey consistency. I couldn’t stop myself from going for seconds, because this was just too delicious.

Celebrate the joyous occasion with your nearest and dearest by indulging in Lime Restaurant’s enhanced star-studded festive spread featuring signature delights like the Braised Premium Pot filled with Sea Cucumber, Fried Fish Maw, Dried Scallops and more, Pickering Lobster Laksa and Roasted Beef Prime Ribs in Natural Jus.

The restaurant’s Lobster Laksa is an indulgent affair you won’t want to miss. The laksa gravy rocks a nice vibrant orange and carries a strong dried shrimp flavour. Imagine biting into tender and sweet lobster flesh that has sufficiently absorbed the satisfying thick and creamy gravy. So good!

Satiate that pescatarian appetite with the myriad of seafood dishes. Starting with the fresh Sashimi, and cold Seafood Platter, before moving on to the Steamed Seabass with Kim Hwa Ham and Mushroom, and Rock Salt Baked Salmon.

You will also get to enjoy Pen Cai served in an adorable mini claypot. Look forward to savouring the sweetness of sea cucumber, mushrooms and black moss, served in superior broth.
