Feast Your Way Through JEWEL Changi Airport’s Exciting CNY Menus
February 03, 2021
A lush nature wonderland with an iconic waterfall, Jewel Changi Airport is truly a crown jewel of Singapore. Boasting over 280 shopping and dining options, this attractive lifestyle destination is filled with lots to shop, eat and play. Just for eateries, there are more than 110 outlets, with exciting new brands popping up every now and then.
With Chinese New Year only a few sleeps away, Jewel is ready to welcome auspicious tidings with a myriad of festive menus and offers. We bring to you a few of the many reasons why Jewel Changi Airport is the place to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
A-One Signature (#B2-200)
Truly a master at hearty claypot-style dishes, A-One Signature brings the CNY spirit to their dishes with the A-One Abalone Premium Claypot ($138 for four pax). This delicious take on pencai comes heaped with scallops, sea cucumber, fish maw, prawns and of course, fat juicy braised abalones, all doused in a special handmade sauce. While their Gold Ingot Platter ($68.90 for five pax) does not come with real gold, it bears treasures of A-One prawn paste chicken cubes, fish roe lucky bags, tiger prawn rolls, prawn balls and salad prawn. Be sure not to miss out on the Prosperity Abalone Yu Sheng ($32.90 for six pax) as well! All three dishes are available for dine-in till 26 February 2021.
Herit8ge (#05-206)
Pairing innovative local flavours with a soothing backdrop of greenery on the uppermost level of Jewel Changi, Herit8ge’s special CNY menu takes it up a notch with spreads fit for four pax at $258++ and eight pax at $560++. Available from 5 to 21 February 2021, the six-course and eight-course sets feature familiar dishes with modern touches such as the wonderfully flavourful Divine Red Emperor Snapper drizzled in garlic and superior soya sauce, and their take on our beloved cereal prawns, Empress Golden Prawns. My absolute favourite is the oh-so tender Prosperity Charred Glazed Pork Ribs. Herit8ge’s Yu Sheng is not your usual messy affair but still lets you go wild with tossing to all the good fortune and luck for the year.
JUMBO Seafood (#03-202/203/204)
Seafood lovers will feel right at home here no matter the season and will be especially pleased to know that JUMBO Seafood’s famed Award Winning Chilli Crab with Deep Fried Mini Buns is included in all the Celebration Set Menus. Available for groups of four (starts from $258), six (starts from $398) and eight (starts from $588) till 28 February 2021, the set menus comprise lots of fresh seafood. The flavourful Seafood Soup Braised with Crab Meat is rich in nutrients and the Supreme Seafood Fried Rice is a carb delight filled with prawns and more. Prefer a stay-home feast? Enjoy 10% off their Reunion Set Menu for takeaway orders placed before 5 February 2021 and head down for collection on 11 February 2021.
JW360° Suju Masayuki Japanese Restaurant (#01-223/224/225)
Stay true to tradition while getting a taste of something new by swapping out your usual pencai with a Premium Seafood Nabe. Loaded with top-quality goods like prawn, salmon, oysters, mussels, chicken, seasoned with 2 years aged spicy miso, the Japanese-style hotpot boasts a calming broth that gets further flavoured by its ingredients. JW360° Suju Masayuki Japanese Restaurant also makes a play on the auspicious saying 年年有余 with their Akauo Shioyaki set that has grilled dried red perch. And while you’re at it, give their signature Suju Bento a go — their fluffy white rice is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Kam’s Roast (#02-210)
Kam’s Roast goes all out this CNY by zhng-ing up their indulgent roast meats with 22-carat edible French gold flakes on the Kam’s Roast Golden Duck ($88 for a whole duck) and the deliciously fatty Kam’s Roast Golden Toro Char Siu ($38.80). For larger celebrations, you can’t go wrong with the Prosperity Trio Set ($108) which consists of their toothsome Iberico char siew, crispy roast pork, and a whopping whole roast duck! We can already see the sky-high demands for these so make sure to get yours between 11 to 28 February 2021. And exclusively available for home celebrations is the Kam’s Roast Prosperity Treasure Pot (starts from $248) brimming with all-star ingredients including signature roasts and Huat Kee Teochew Restaurant’s famous fish maw and abalone.

Come for the Hainanese Chicken Rice, stay for the mouth-watering Prosperity Set Menu ($698++ for eight pax)! In fact, you’ll be too stuffed to leave by the time you’ve polished off everything. I’m talking Crab Meat Kueh Pie Tee, Mini Buddha Jumps Over The Wall, Assam Prawn in Pineapple, Steamed Grouper in HK Style and more. Smaller groups can also enjoy these dishes in the Blissful ($238++ for four pax) and Successful ($408++ for six pax) set menus that come with a Reunion Yusheng with Smoked Salmon ($48.80 for four to six pax, $68.80 for six to eight pax). What’s more, you can also receive up to $60 worth of free Pow Sing dining vouchers for the sets you purchase.

Authentic Chinese flavours meet modern cooking techniques at Shang Social. Boost your health and beauty with the vibrant Braised Bird’s Nest Broth with Crab Meat and Roe. For fans of meat dishes, you’ll love the Shang Social Jasmine Smoked Duck. Fragrant and flavourful, the meat is sandwiched in a soft bun and drizzled with sweet sauce. Yun Nans (#02-217)
This CNY, feast on Yun Nans’ luxurious specialties made with premium ingredients imported from the Yunnan province.
