Come on down to relive the good eighties at Grand Hyatt Singapore on New Year’s Eve. With 5 different dining establishments, diners can choose their preferred cuisine and ambience for a memorable end to the year.

Have your bell-bottom pants and colourful printed shirts on as diners get retro and travel back to the 80s. After dinner, make a beeline for the hotel lobby, which will be transformed into a dance floor with groovy eighties disco tunes, lavish desserts, and free-flow champagne from 9.30pm till late. Diners from all 5 dining establishments are warmly welcome to soak in the festivities and dance the night away!

The mezza9 buffet spread offers specially curated celebratory foods, with highlights including slow roasted Cape Grim Angus standing ribs, braised Bangalow pork cheeks, and Chinese steamed red garoupa. With a lavish selection also featuring oysters and caviar, it would definitely be a night to remember.

StraitsKitchen - NYE

For a uniquely Singaporean buffet, StraitsKitchen is the answer. Expect regional favourites like Moroccan-style barbecued lamb leg, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, udang berlado (prawns cooked with signature chilli sauce) and tandoori murgh (marinated skinless chicken with yoghurt and spices). Also, do not miss out on the ice-cream and sherbet selection that includes flavours such as horlicks and durian. StraitsKitchen is one of the only restaurants in town with a Halal-certified kitchen, which makes it a great place for all to gather and dine.

Pete's Place - NYE

If travelling to Italy was one of your 2017 New Year’s resolution that didn’t happen, do not fret. The rustic trattoria dining setting at Pete’s Place will allow diners to experience Italy in Singapore. Coupled with nostalgic hearty Italian dishes such as the Slow Roasted Porchetta with Garlic and Herb, Wood-Roasted Whole Sea Bream with Fennel and Dill Flowers, Pete’s Place truly brings Italy to the diners! Also, we heard that there is a whole mozzarella bar for the cheese lovers out there. Score!

10 SCOTTS Sustainable Sashimi - NYE

Have an intimate dinner with your loved ones at 10 SCOTTS, which adopts a communal-style dining approach. Feast on house-cured sustainable Atlantic salmon on blinis, poached Maine lobsters and roasted Charolaise tenderloin with mustard and herbs. End off dinner (and the year) on a sweet note, with delectable festive desserts such as marzipan stollen, opera cake, steamed plum pudding and many other candied treats.

Oasis - NYE

Enjoy the cooling night breeze and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the concrete jungle as you wine and dine at Oasis Restaurant’s alfresco dining area. Feast on the likes of sustainable seafood on ice, freshly shucked rock oysters and poached Spencer Gulf king prawns as you bask in the lush greenery and the calming sounds of the nearby pool.
