Just because gatherings are downsized this year doesn’t mean your Lunar New Year feast has to be less extravagant! With less than a month left before we usher in the Year of the Tiger, it can be stressful trying to find the perfect place to celebrate with your loved ones.

Carlton Hotel
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Wah Lok Cantonese Restaurant’s stunning seven and eight-course set menus beholding traditional Cantonese favourites. Crafted by MasterChef Ng Wai Tong and his culinary team, the elaborate spread of mouth watering dishes includes Steamed Live Soon Hock, Pan-fried Hokkaido Scallop with Golden Sauce, Braised Whole Abalone, Dried Oysters & Vegetables and Prosperity Smoked Chicken. Also making a return is the all-time favourite Longevity Poon Choi, a traditionally intricate dish comprising indulgent ingredients like whole abalone, sea cucumber, scallops, prawns, roasted duck and more. Set menus begin from $398++ for four pax to $748++ for five pax.
Vegetarian folks will be pleased to know that there are two Lunar New Year set menus ($78++ per pax/$80++ per pax) tailored for them. Equally luxurious dishes such as Braised Asparagus Stuffed with Bamboo Fungus, Deep-fried Yam Perch Fish and Braised Winter Melon Ring Stuffed with Mixed Vegetables await.
A reunion feast isn’t complete without yusheng, and Wah Lok has six different renditions to select from. Toss to the start of an astoundingly auspicious Lunar New Year with their newest creation, the Fortune Sea Cucumber Lo Hei, which comes laden with braised Konnyaku slices of premium sea cucumber, jellyfish, iceberg lettuce, white radish, carrots, black moss and marinated ginger, complete with a tasty homemade plum dressing. A Lunar New Year feast like no other awaits at Cantonese restaurant Man Fu Yuan. With a total of six indulgent prix-fixe menus to choose from, and an ensemble of specialty a la carte favourites, Man Fu Yuan is ready to make the new year an exceedingly memorable one. Invite prosperity, wealth and good health into the new year with the ultra-luxe 60-Inch Garden of Abundance Yu Sheng ($588), topped with baby abalone, lobster, sea urchin, scallops, salmon, crisp fish skin and a drizzle of pomegranate sauce. Take things up a notch with the premium seven-course Abundance Prix-Fixe Menu ($328++ per pax) comprising delectable offerings such as double-boiled giant fish broth with bird’s nest, king tuber mushroom, Yunnan cured ham and braised lobster with superior crab meat egg white sauce.

Pan Pacific Singapore is all fired up and ready to celebrate the new year with a bevy of reunion feasts at their esteemed restaurants. Prepare for an indulgent feast of star-studded Cantonese dishes at Hai Tien Lo, featuring eight delectable set menus from $128 per person.
